FRAGUAMAX is a hydraulic cement with high resistance from the first few hours. Its chemical composition is quite different from Portland cement. This gives it special properties in terms of setting time, durability, mechanical strength and resistance to sulphate attack.
It is considered a cement resistant to sulphate attack (to a greater extent than type II and V Portland cements), due to the zero content of tricalcium aluminate (C₃A) (ASTM C/O-150). It is a sulfoaluminous CSA cement (Calcium Sulfoaluminate - C₄A₃), which provides concrete with a significant improvement in its properties.
High Initial Strength Structural Cement
- (> 25 MPa in 1 ½ hours). Sets at 20 minutes.
Resistance to sulphate attack and alkali-aggregate mitigation (Greater Durability)
- No C3A (component sensitive to sulphate attack). Does not ooze. Does not form capillarity. Impervious to carbonation. Over 48% CaO content.
Low shrinkage
- Greater use of water in the mix.
- Less loss of volume.
Homogeneous drying. Impermeability (Blaine 6,000 cm²/g)
In addition to not generating capillarity, it closes porosity very well due to its extreme thinness.
Single component product
Solution for quick release, durability, shrinkage, impermeability and highly complex applications (low temperatures, humidity, salt spray, chemical aggression).

Curing
- Water-based (wet) curing.
- Ensure humidity on the surface for two hours before finishing.
Other tips
- Optimum planning and coordination.
- Dose cement on site. • Work with citric acid to prolong setting.
- Do not try to recover slump with water.
- Do not let the surface dry out or get too hot in the two to three hours before finishing.
